Hi since I didn't see one already for this movie I thought I would start the official captain underpants bluray, 4K and bluray 3D pre order thread.

Day 1. Very entertaining and funny flick. Beautiful animation too and with only a $38m budget.

Good B!!!!

This movie is ok and better than the horrendous Wonder Woman that has just come out. Charisma Carpenter could have even made a better movie 10 years ago!

Like I said, you want good Comic Book movies - stick to Deadpool and Spider-Man: Homecoming!

Go see Captain Underpants. Grade: B!!!!

Wonder Woman isn't that bad however it is not as good as everyone is making it out to be.

I hope a 3D version will be avaliable for pre-order soon. There was some great 3D in this movie, perhaps not quite so consistently eye-popping as The Boss Baby but still absolutely worth a watch in the format and one I would buy on Blu-ray 3D if that version of the film was released/announced.

This film was released to theaters in 3D which was the only reason I went to see it. People would complain if they only released a B&W "Pan & Scan" DVD and skipped the Blu-ray & 4K UHD release... same difference.

I don't get why people only see a movie for the 3D. I like 3D too but im more interested in the movie itself.

I really want to get it as soon as it releases. My son loved the movie and the books

I haven't read anything about any Target-exclusive extras. That's usually the norm for DWA movies.

Temper your expectations. Captain Underpants is a potentially iconic character with some great imagery and a cool premise but I left a little disappointed; unless you love poop jokes - then it's a winner. I'm not very familiar with the books nor sure what more to expect from a character called Captain Underpants, but still I had higher hopes.
