The difference between 28 AWG and 22 AWG is the thickness of the wire. Since you will be at 6 feet or less, I doubt very seriously there would be any noticeable difference between the two. I think you would notice a difference when you are going 30 feet plus with your connections.

I would suggest that you visit monoprice.com for all of your wiring needs. I have used them multiple times in the past and their products are inexpensive and work very well.

I would suggest that you get HDMI 1.3a cables to future-proof your system as much as you can.

to further consider your system future proof, a good set of cables can also be found through bluejeans as well. great customer service, and a great company to deal with.

difference with monoprice cables? lets just say that i prefer them a bit more than monoprice when it comes to my hdmi cabling. just a wee bit.

Probably no difference if only 6ft. but one cost $15.03(24awg) and the other is $5.24(28awg), so its up to you. I just ordered from monoprice last night and hopefully will be here by tomorrow. I went the cheaper way.
