My current home theater is pre-wired for 5.1 and I really enjoy the sound quality I get, but I want to add 2 Atmos speakers to get 5.1.2. My issue is that I will have to cut into my ceiling and do a bit of surgery to run the speaker wire into my AV closet. I'm really debating on if it's worth putting a few holes in my ceiling (that will be patched up) to get Atmos. Anyone have any experience doing this? How difficult will it be to patch up the holes and make it look like nothing was ever done?
