You know with Who Framed Roger Rabbit on 25th anniversary Blu and with The Nightmare Before Christmas turning 20 this year I thought "Is Disney going to release this film again?" (not that I don't mind).

If there's anything on here that's worth to buy it, then I'll buy it.

the current edition is already pretty great. Disney will probably just slap a new featurette on this and call it a day.

It's possible that they did a new 4K scan of it, unless the original had that already?

I might go for this, especially if it's 3D. Never got around to picking up TNBC 3D out currently. I have the 2D edition already, so if this has at least 3D + new special features, I might go for the double dip.

Interested to hear more details.

Unless they include EVERYTHING from the 1994 laserdisc (including the uncut making-of documentary and Henry Selick's MTV logos and animation tests), then screw it. The current Blu is more than good enough.

I'll be curious to see what's new, but I have a strong feeling that I'll be perfectly happy with the current 3D release that I have.

If there's a lot of new stuff added to it I'll probably get it, otherwise I think I'll just pass.

I still need to pick up the 3D version, even though it isn't great.

Owning both the 2D and 3D edition, I can't imagine what else could be done to make a triple dip for me necessary. The bonus content would have to be some really interesting new material to make me consider it.
