Why are they doing V for Vendetta only on HD DVD?

It'll probably show up a few months later on Blu-Ray just as been the case with Warner titles since day one.

It's because it's getting an IME. The BD-Java tools for such things are coming to fruition later than HD DVDs tools were. So we'll either see it without shortly or wait a bit longer for it with it.
