Before The Dark (September 12, 2017)

Hello all!

So I have been a long time member of these boards, and what drew me here initially is just my love of movies!

And in that love, and passion, I actually went out and made a film called BEFORE THE DARK. I wrote it and Produced it and have a small role in it.

Before I go any further, I will say that I did PM one of the Mods here to ask if I could post about this film here, and he said with a few guidelines I should be okay! I def don't want this to come across as spam! This is a legitimate movie that is being sold on Amazon and Best Buy and Walmart and other Retail stores.

It is a Sci-Fi film about: The Government learns of a way to save their species after discovering the Sun will soon die.

As of right now, I do know the release is DVD only, and I am really hoping the Members and the Mods grant me a LITTLE leeway in keeping it in this forum, as this forum gets the most visitors (I also know that from talking to our distributor, if the DVD sells are good enough, that could tip them to release a Blu Ray in the future)

But, I know there are a bunch of movie fans on here, and I would love to talk about this movie with them, or the process of making a movie or anything in between! And if you all have some extra change laying around and want to watch a TRULY Independent film made by one of your own, that would be awesome!

Wow! So i severely overestimated the enthusiasm there would be for one of our own making a movie!!!!

But i shall try again, i wrote, produced and have a small part in this film, it is a sci fi film about the sun dying and the government finding a way to teleport people to another similar planet!

This movie is as indy as indy can be! Def need the support of film fans to make it a success!!

Kinda hard to drum up enthusiasm for a movie when you haven't even shown us a trailer, and it's only available as a pre-order (DVD? yuck), so we can't even watch it right now to comment on it anyway, even if we wanted to. Not sure exactly what kind of discussion you were hoping for when no one can watch your film yet.

Also not sure this really makes sense for the main blu-ray forum since your film is not coming out on blu-ray. So there's that, as well...
