Sony XBR65X900E volume lag? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey gang. Got this new Sony XBR65X900E 4K TV about 2 weeks ago and it's really great! One little nagging thing though is there seems to be a little lag sometimes when I try to change the volume on the TV using the supplied remote that came with the TV. I'm not running through a receiver - just trying to adjust the volume using the factory remote on the internal TV speakers. I Googled a bit and it seems to be an issue out there. Anyone have similar experiences or thoughts on this?

I have the 55inch model of the product line.

You may want to try these steps to improve the lag on this display. Also the latest firmware improved Lag overall for my display.

In response to the laggy interface, try these tips:
1. Reboot TV by holding power button on remote control for 10 seconds.
2. Press the Home button – scroll down to Settings – go to the Sony Select App and the Sony Shelf App. In each App CLEAR DATA and CLEAR CACHE.
