If there is a 4K TV that isn't very good at upscaling then can a good UHD blu-ray player that can do upscaling very well make up for that?

That's good. I was considering getting the TCL p-series 4K TV but heard that it had a lackluster upscaler. So now it's a matter of finding a good UHD player. Considering the Oppo UDP-203.
