Blu-ray outselling HD DVD every week, especially black friday and the week of Transformers. WB obviously wanted to end this format war, and if they sided with HD DVD, it would've created a total stalemate. But I would strongly believe it was total software sales and the installed base of the PS3.

The went blu based mainly on software sales...

its was a combo of total software sales (all blu titles from all studios), and WB software sales. since some WB titles were on both formats it was clear to see that blu sold more. Hardware wasn't as much of a concern because they do see PS3 as a game console & blu-ray player equally, and therefore understood that meant 3million+ blu-ray players in homes.

But mainly, it was software sales....

I'm guessing a few of us maybe have helped with all the blu title we all bought! lol

If they did (which they are denying) so what?
It's not like something like this hasn't happened before.
