Does anyone know what this "Complete Scream Collection" from Alliance is about or what it includes? I like the cover art tho! It's on HMV's website for $61.99 but with a release date of October 4th, not September 20th like it is supposed to be for Canada. I wish i knew more about this set, and what release date we are getting scre4m for sure!!

Interesting. I can't find any details either. Price seems a little high considering how cheap the Canadian Scream 1-3 set is if they've just added #4. I wonder if that's a mask included in the box....

Amazon.ca has it for Sept 20th, but no pictures or details.

I would imagine that it would have the re-releases of the Scream Movies (the ones that were released with the US version, so the non-1080i ones) and the 4th movie.

I called my local Future Shop & HMV about this collection and Scream 4 in general and they each said they will be getting them, but not until October 4th; which is the same date as the U.S. release not Sept 20th like we were supposed to. So, i don't have a clue about this set.

Agreed. It's also $57.74 on Amazon.ca with free shipping, so your better off going that route if you want to buy it.

Please note though that the newer 3 movie disc set and new 4th one you should be able to get cheaper. Amazon has the new 3 disc and 4th movie for $27.99. So you can get the whole set for $56.98, if you go this route of buying them separately.

Then thats why Future Shop, Best Buy and HMV in Canada you couldnt find on their websites the title "Scream 4" for released september 20th and neither for October 4th but Amazon.ca does have it and the box collection for a september 20th released.

I'm interested in this collection, but I want to know if it comes with the two documentaries that the 3-film set comes with. If not, I'll probably buy the trilogy and then the fourth film seperately.

Okay, I have e-mailed Alliance Films about the release date of Scream 4 & the Complete Collection and this is what they had to say, "Scream 4 will be available in Canada on October 4th & we'll be creating a Scream Collection w/ all the films in it (including Scream 4). The special features in our release will be the same as the US." So i don't know what amazon is talking about but they are saying it is not until Oct 4th; and i have replied back to them and asked about the complete collection in terms of its packaging. Once i hear back from them i will let you all know!

Okay i got the word back about the packaging, "It's a full sized mask. We had to adjust our packaging to fit the mask. The individual DVDs / Blu-rays are inside the box. Thanks." So there you have it!

You beat me to it! have emailed earlier today Alliance Films but they havent replied yet.

Amazon is always wrong with their release dates. You will get an email late in the day saying they could not get the items in stock to ship to you, and that you can keep your order and they will ship it to you when the items are in stock, or you can cancel the order.

Thanks for doing the footwork and finding out for us, manishere.

I'm still kind of confused if it includes the 2 documentaries from the American trilogy box. Alliance said the extras are the same, but the US box considers them 2 extra movies...

You might want to save it if you want to do a complete Scream marathon since Scream 4 is not coming out next week in Canada like it was announced.

Amazon.ca has also put up the final artwork packaging for the COMPLETE SCREAM COLLECTION. As you can see at the bottom it now reads, "includes Scream 1-4 & a collectible ghostface mask" I like this artwork, but i will know better once i see a real picture of it!

I contacted Alliance again about this package, i asked "Does the Scream blu-ray complete set include Still Screaming/Scream: The Inside Story? Also, do you have any shots of the packaging and such? Thanks!"

They replied, "The special features for the DVD version are the same as what is on the individual DVD releases for Scream 1, 2, 3 & 4. On the Blu-ray, however, the Scream Collection also includes a bonus disc that has 2 feature documentaries - Still Screaming and Scream: The Inside Story. Both sets include the official Ghostface mask. You'll have to wait for the shots of the packaging & artwork! Thanks!"

This is excellent news! I cannot wait to get this set it is sure to be an amazing collection!
