When Sweet Charity got a release in France on BluRay last year, there was talk that an announcement for a N American release would happen soon--but so far nothing. I was just reminded as an HD print just aired on one of the movie channels up here tonight... Any word? While something of a flop, and Fosse goes a bit crazy with trying out new techniques, I'm a big fan and would love to see a release (the existing DVD release actually cuts a minute of key footage, but the HD release seems to have it). Also--does anyone HAVE the French release? Any chance that it actually isn't region locked?
