I remember going to the theater to see it, but I don't remember anything about the movie apart from "welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?"

It's one of the better Nickelodeon-produced films. It's a lot funnier than the Kenan and Kel TV movie Two Heads Are Better Than None (which technically counted as the show's series finale).

Apparently, in 1998, Dan Scheinder wrote a sequel called Good Burger 2 Go, in which a British fast food conglomerate buys the establishment and Ed and Dexter uncover a scandal, in the process. The script never went into production for three possible reasons: the budget would be too high, Paramount had no interest in it, or Kenan and Kel didn't want to do it, so Scheinder hired fellow collaborator Steve Holland to turn the script into a paperback novel (which I have and is also autographed by Kel himself). I think it would have been a great sequel if it was actually made.

I'm more interested in how he got away with saying he broke his ass in a Nickelodeon movie.

I think in the TV version it was changed to "I think I broke my butt."
