Amazon.es: Stock / Shipping issues

Hi all,

I wanted to let everyone know that Amazon.es may be having issue with stock on their site pages. I recently ordered the Blu-ray of Gloria (2013), which has consistently been listed as "In Stock", but despite ordering on May 4th, the item had not shipped as of yesterday (May 12th), so I decided to try an online chat.

During this chat, I was informed by the representative that the BD had actually been out-of-stock but was on hand from May 10th. When I queried as to why it had not been shipped immediately, he had no real answer. Hours later, I then finally received a shipping confirmation e-mail. I was given an €5,00 voucher for my next order, but unfortunately, I did not notice that the BD had also dropped in price while I was waiting for it ship. A subsequent chat to try to get them to refund the difference was fruitless, given that I had been provided the voucher.

So, just in case you are planning any time-sensitive orders from Amazon.es, be advised that you may have to wait longer than you think.

How long is the shipping time from Amazon Spain to get to Virginia, USA? I bought Enter the Dragon Steelbook which was shipped on August 31st and I still didn't get it. It's sold by Amazon.

I don't know how long it would take but I do have some experience with the opposite of what you've done, Amazon.com to Spain. Standard shipping from the US to Spain takes between 2 to 6 weeks or longer in some cases. I'm guessing it would be the same going in the opposite direction.

Finally got my Enter the Dragon Steelbook. I was worried it got lost in the mail.

Shipped by Priority Mail By Amazon Switzerland on 08/28
Arrive to Virginia, USA on 09/16/

The Amazon Tape on the box as amazon.uk, amazon.it, amazon.de..

Must be same distribution center for several European amazon sites.

No, there are multiple warehouses throughout all of Europe they just all use the same packaging. I've had UK editions sent to me from Italy and France purchased from Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.es, English language books from Germany purchased from Amazon.fr etc.

They used to have different tape on the packaging but they don't anymore. I'm currently (eagerly) waiting for my While You Were Sleeping Bluray order from Amazon.uk (from an Aussie seller) that was dispatched December 22nd. No updates on that as of today, January 10th 2021.
