here is the link to the original thread with everyone's votes.
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=281280 51 lists were counted with a total of 227 different movies. reminder that the results are ranked by points scored using this system: 1. 25 Points 2. 19 Points 3. 18 Points 4. 17 Points 5. 16 Points ................. 16. 5 Points 17. 4 Points 18. 3 Points 19. 2 Points 20. 1 Point 21 - 30 will get 1 point each. i used total number of votes as a tie-breaker and used highest ranking given as a second tie-breaker. thanks again to all participants. OMG!
![]() You're going to countdown from eighty-five? Well, at least it is nice to know that two other people appreciate Tommy Lee Jones' directorial debut. |

I wanted to do the top 99 or 100 or even the top half (113 of 226) but too many of the movies around there have just one vote each and even with the two tie-breakers, they're still tied. I will show the basic complete list after we do the top countdown. I need to check out The Three Burials, I hadn't heard of it prior to this thread and just watched the trailer. it looks pretty good and I like tommy lee jones in just about everything I see him in. |

I still haven't seen it but damn it looks solid. I've seen TLJ's adaptation of Sunset Ltd. and that was on point.

I need to catch How The West Was Won in the Cinerama version. I've seen the versions where it was converted to standard widescreen and it seems like the black bars cover too much of the screen with a 2.89:1 aspect ratio or it was fit into a full screen version for the tv broadcast where I'm missing half the picture. For those who have seen both Cinerama and standard, which is your favorite version?
Note She Wore A Yellow Ribbon was the only movie that makes the list entirely from one person's #1 vote. |

Yeah! That was my vote. My favourite Ford/Wayne western after Stagecoach, & the Warner Archive Blu-ray is a stunner. I'm glad to see that They Dies With Their Boots On also made the cut, come on Warner, get your finger out & release some more Flynn.
