I bought an Onkyo HT-S5800 5.1.2-Channel Dolby Atmos Home Theater Package. My receiver has died. Can I buy any 7 channel receiver or do I have to get a 5.1.2 receiver, and does it have to say it is Dolby Atmos-ready/capable etc if I want to use my dolby atmos speakers?

You will definitely need a receiver that is Atmos capable to make sure of the atmos speakers. Most current 7 channel receivers that have atmos give you the choice of using it as 7.1 or 5.1.2 So just check the specs. They usually clearly describe the different layouts you can use.
