Here, we will rank our top Bond films, villains and theme songs. Please list at least 10 films, 5 villains and 5 theme songs.

I will be counting Casino Royale (1967) and Never Say Never Again (1983), so feel free to list items pertaining to them if you would like.

As far as villains go, please list the different actor's interpretations (Blofeld) separately. Theme songs will be those from the opening titles sequences.

The point system will be as follows:
#1 50 points
#2 45 points
#3 40 points
#4 35 points
#5 30 points
#6 25 points
#7 20 points
#8 through 20 19 through 7 points in descending order

Voting will close on December 5th, 2017.

I do have a few questions about the themes:

• Are the end-credits songs permitted as well (like "We Have All The Time in the World" or "Surrender")? Or any songs used in the middle of the movie (like "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" or "Where Has Everybody Gone?"--these themes were worked into John Barry's scores too)?
• Are commercial songs used in the films allowed (like the Clash's "London Calling", used in DAD, among others)?
• Are we counting the instrumental theme for OHMSS?
• Are rejected themes allowed? (QoS has one out there)
• Are covers/remakes allowed? (because seriously, Tarja's cover of "Goldfinger" is a thing of beauty)

Same here. But I can understand--most of us probably only know and care about the opening themes, and they are the songs that represent their respective films (most of the time).

It will probably be much easier to judge and compile if it's just the main theme/title song. As Al the Strange asked those several questions (and if you look at the various soundtrack albums), I could see where one could go crazy listing obscure instrumental passages rather than just songs with lyrics and not a pop song in the background on a radio. So, "sigh", I will remove my top two favorites.

That just reminds me of how miffed I am that Four Tet's "Crawl" from QoS was never released anywhere. And yet, I managed to find some of those obscure background radio songs--George Akaezeis pretty groovy.
