Scoundrels (1982) (Remastered)

After a long wait, it seems that Distribxpix will be releasing Cecil Howard's Scoundrels (1982) in July 2017. This image was uploaded to the Distribxpix Facebook page a couple of days ago:



Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any final specifications or pre-order links, yet. However, from content posted in November 2015 on the Distribxpix blog, we know that a raw 4K scan was completed by late 2015, and that there should be an audio commentary with Ron Jeremy, as well as an image gallery in the extras. Now it seems that the release is finally ready after significant delays, no doubt including Cecil Howard's passing in December 2016.

It's really great to see that this is actually happening, especially with how difficult Howard's films were to see on home video after VHS. I was starting to believe that this Blu-ray would never happen.
