walking tall or Bruce Almighty??

How about neither? If you can't make up your mind, you might want to wait for a sale and get both...

OR get the one you KNOW you want the most. That always helps me. I'd personally go for Bruce Almighty but I wouldn't buy it as a new release. I just got the HD DVD for $3.50 new and shipped anyway, and that's pretty much just as good I'd assume. The audio is Dolby Digital Plus instead of DTS-HD Master Audio but until I read reviews there's no guarantee a movie like Bruce Almighty will have a MAJOR benefit from the upgrade. And while with certain films DTS-HD Master Audio is worth the difference, absolutely, this is the kind of title that might not be worth it when the HD DVD is so cheap (for HD DVD collectors only though, I guess).

Then why did you get it wrong. Walking Tall is by far the most re-watchable film. Comedies lose it after a few watches. A fun action film you can watch over and over.
