Default “Report a Problem” website sign-in issue?

I’m trying to use reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for a movie. The movie is Superman: The Movie and it is not in the correct aspect ratio. I have already bought the other version, Supernman: The Movie (Special Edition) which is correct. So I’d like to request a refund from Apple for the first one and, the links in my purchase history in iTunes eventually take me to the above mentioned website. When I try to sign into this website with my Apple ID, I get the following message:

Quote:
You must use an Apple ID that has previously been used in iTunes. Sign in again with another Apple ID.
This is the only Apple ID I have or have ever had. I use it all the time in the iTunes Store. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any other way to request a refund?

Try to chat with Apple and give them the order code of your purchase.

I tried the report a problem page and had no difficulty signing in and leaving my complaint about Superman. But I decided to keep it. For one thing it also includes the 3-hour version in HD (and the correct aspect ratio). Also if you connect to Movies Anywhere you can watch this purchase via Vudu, Amazon, and others. I checked those two and both had the main feature in the proper aspect ratio. So while I'd rather have it on iTunes (my main library) with a click I can watch it on Vudu. Given that it was on sale at iTunes at a nice price, all in all a pretty good deal, though not perfect.

Which of the 2 Superman: The Movie releases in iTunes is the newer one? The Specil Edition or the one that includes the 3 hour cut?

Honestly, I was very disappointed in the audio quality of the 3 hour cut. Stereo only and sounds highly compressed.

The one with the 3-hour cut as a bonus has reviews going back to August 2008, the Special Edition one Dec 2008. So they're pretty close in time, but the files themselves could have been changed or updated anytime from then to now so who knows? Looks like everything Superman is on sale under "Movies Under $10 - Limited Time". They even have a 6-movie Superman bundle 1 (spec ed), 2, 2 (director's cut), 3, 4, and Supe Returns. The whole bundle is $29.99 which is $5 per movie if you want all of them (I don't).

The "Report a Problem" website started working for me so I was able to get my refund. Must have been a glitch on Apple's end.

Oddly, after getting my refund the movie is still in my iTunes and is playable. I would have thought that Apple would take it away. It did disappear from my Movies Anywhere account and Vudu but, still shows up in iTunes.
