I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing. They made some pretty entertaining B action films. Hopefully their new owners will keep making those kind of films because it feels like the big studio's don't do those kind of movies anymore.

I wonder what happened to that. At one point I even saw a poster of it at my local movie theater. Hopefully it gets released now that the sale is done.

I have a feeling that the distribution rights might revert back to Paramount/Miramax since they were the ones who produced it. STX’s film library seems to be a prime candidate to be sold off.
