Hello fellow members,
I hope someone can help me. I'm interested in buying a couple of movies from the iTunes store. I have my eyes set on "Jingle all the way" (which is available in 4k) as well as a number of the Bond movies (also available in 4k). Since I only have an 1080p projector in my home cinema, I wanted to ask.... does anyone know, if those 4k movies also feature new 1080p transfers? The transfer on the "Jingle all the way" BD is pretty mediocre (but then... the Blu Ray is a couple of years old already); the same thing applies for "Goldeneye" on BD, for instance. Does anyone know if - when accessing the 1080p streams of those movies - they will give me an updated 1080p version, based on those 4k Transfers? Any help would be appreciated! Warmest regards, Andreas |
