Default Cost efficient method of playing imported Blu-Rays?

It's time to begin building my own setup! Rather than just shoving a player under a TV on a cart,

But before I start buying equipment or materials, I want to know what is the simplest, cost efficient method to play my R1/B blus? Like is it better to try and hunt down a "region free" player or is there a better way?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I really am getting ready to start putting together an actual home theater, and the particular method I will need to play import Blu-rays will decide how I begin, because I want that out of the way first.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with your question but, it looks like you're very eager to find the information you're looking for. You didn't even wait 12 hours before posting a second time. I suggest that you go to Google and type in "region free options" or something like that and I'm sure that you'll be able to find all of the information that you need. Good luck.

Kind if forgot the disclaimer, haha, an edit would have been better. The only things I can come up with are region free players, which are expensive (in the context of already owning a decent player) or mods that I’m not comfortable doing, so in that case I may just skip it altogether.

I have some imported discs, but it is not a habit or hobby of mine, that’s the reason I wanted to ask first before putting a solid plan together.

If you decide to go region free there's a whole thread about region free players in the blu-ray players and recorders section.
