How do your packages from Amazon get delivered?

Just curious how your packages get delivered from Amazon? Lately I have had packages from Amazon dropped on the floor below the mailboxes before you get into the building. I don’t like that since anyone can steal the packages. A month ago I came home from work and saw two police cars in my parking lot of my building and they arrested a guy who had been stealing packages. He didn’t even live in the building. I prefer having the US mail deliver packages since they will put a key in the mailbox indicating you have a package delivered and it will be in the bigger mailboxes across from the regular mailboxes. It just seems that so many people will brazenly steal packages and it’s frustrating.
