Default Upgrading from Denon X3000 to Marantz SR7011

Hello guys,

I am planning to upgrade my denon x3000 to marantz SR7011 avr .

I am quiet happy with the sound of denon which do not do dolby atmos or DTS X. Also do not have a preamp to power them.

Will there be a significant change in the sound quality with marantz SR 7011.
I am also planning to power the front 3 channels with a power ampusing the marantz preouts.

Waiting for your valuable inputs.

Thanks

I been using the SR6011 for a few months and I’m quite happy with it. If you’re watching a lot of 4k content you’ll hear the difference when there’s an atmos or dts-x track. The two zones capability is pretty cool to. When watching blu-rays and under you won’t feel a real difference though.
