Default The Dark Knight 4K HDR

Strangely, I don't see The Dark Knight 4K title in iTunes as a pre-order...what's up with that?

This is a must buy!!!

So if I buy the HD version in iTunes now it will get upgraded to 4K when Apple releases it?

Does Apple do this for all titles they have that eventually get the 4K treatment?

Thanks...

Are Apple definitely going to release The Dark Knight (and the other Nolan films) in 4K though? I hope they do

I'm curious to see if they do this as well. The box set is not coming with digital codes, only the individual remasters are.

I would be very surprised if Apple were not one of the online retailers mentioned here.

The 7 titles will be available online on December 12 but it has not yet been confirmed if they will be offered in 4K HDR. The same 7 titles will be available one week later on December 19 on UHD Blu-ray – separately and as a box set.

I was eagerly expecting this .

But since Dunkirk in 4K on iTunes has the IMAX scenes cropped, I expect the 4K HDR versions of The Dark Knight Trilogy to also have them cropped (as they are in the current iTunes HD versions, which I already own).

Which is very frustrating and stupid to say the list.

The Dark Knight (Trilogy) is now a free upgrade in 4K HDR/Dolby Vision for those who purchased the HD version.
:-)

Wrong aspect ratio though still.

Avoid buying the Dark Knight Trilogy bundle i you want the 4k versions. The bundle (certainly in Canada) only gives you movies 1&3 in 4k but the 2nd is only HD.

Anyone know if the HD versions (specifically in Canada) are at least the remasters?

How did you redeem the codes? Did you go through wb.com/redeemdigital?

Confirmed - The Canadian bundle does not yet have the 4k version so itunes issued a refund to me.

Already had digital copies of The Dark Knight trilogy. They were updated to Dolby Vision but not 4K.
