Default Death House 2017 (They're calling it The Expendables of Horror)

Quote:
A new horror film will unite all of the icons of the genre in one epic, bloody fight for survival, similar to the lassoing in of action legends in The Expendables franchise. Dubbed Death House, the movie will focus on the “Area 51 of evil,” where a government facility holds all of humanity’s worst death-dealers underground.
I wonder if this can work, I mean it worked for Stallone and Company for the Expendables movies. Some really iconic horror actors in here though!

Dee Wallace- Cujo, Critters, The Howling, E.T.
Danny Trejo- Literally every movie ever made
Robert Englund- Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise
Michael Berryman- The Devils Rejects, The Hills Have Eyes
Bill Moseley- The Devils Rejects, Army of Darkness, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Kane Hodder- Frozen, Jason X, Halloween Remake, Seven
Barbara Crampton- From Beyond, You're Next, Re-Animator
Doug Bradley- Hellraiser Franchise, Wrong Turn 5
Ken Foree- The Devils Rejects, Dawn of the Dead
Camille Keaton- I Spit on Your Grave

The premise sounds like it could either be a fun ride or a massive train wreck. I'd be down to watch it.

If they were smart they'd do whatever it took to get Dean Cundey to shoot it. When the framing of a movie is practically its own character, then I think its fair to say Cundey being DP is basically like him being in the cast. Although he hasn't down any real studio work in a while (I like to pretend he didn't do Jack and Jill).

I remember reading about this years ago. Let's hope it actually happens sometime soon.

I like the premise and I really like the cast.

Would love to see this work out.

I guess you can say that was his most recent horror project.

Is this even necessary? I mean, they already all share screen time as it is in almost every Rob Zombie movie.

And if I may be a bit harsh for a moment, it's not like these are actors the caliber of Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre, and Peter Cushing sharing the screen together. I don't really care if I see Michael Berryman and Camille Keaton acting opposite of each other. And I think we all know deep down that this is going to be straight-to-video, Monster Brawl style trash.

Well, that looks putrid.

I'll still watch it for Barbara Crampton.

And probably hate myself for it.

This would be interesting if the actors were playing the characters they made famous and wasn't just the actors themselves.

I've always wanted to see an all star horror type flick but not many seem to come out too often due that they turn out not too good in the end.

With the talent involved, this should not look like a Chiller channel original film. Very disappointed with this.

Looks like something you'd find on the Horror Channel (which is both good and bad) but yay for Barbara Crampton and Tony Todd.
