Default Charles Band's Eliminators series

Beware, not really an "official" series, but you can see it in this way.

Eliminators (1986)

A super cool, classic b-movie featuring a team of "eighties" cliché heroes:

Mandroid - half man/half machine.
Harry Fontana - the adventurer.
Colonel Nora Hunter - the scientist fighter.
Kuji Takada - the ninja.
S.P.O.T. - a superpowered version of Herbie (see Fantastic Four).

The movie is wonderful. There are two blu-ray editions, the best one is the the UK release (88 Films).

Well, "Eliminators" has two apocryphal sequels, always produced by Charles Band! Both released in 1993:

Mandroid
Invisible: The Chronicles of Benjamin Knight

They are strictly related in terms of continuity, filmed back-to-back in Romania, and feature a new team of Eliminators:

Wade Franklin + Mandroid
Zanna Zimmer
Benjamin Knight/Invisible

Finally, there's an unrelated rip-off, Manborg (2011), featuring a futuristic line-up:

Manborg
Justice
Mina
#1 Man

Any feedback?

"Eliminators" had two HD transfers. SHOUT! used a release print or an interpositive. It looks good. Cue marks are visible.
88 Films used the original camera negatives. Great picture quality.
