Default Another abandoned TV show: No Blu-ray for Lie To Me Season 2
Another television show will be orphaned on Blu-ray, Lie To Me. The culprit this time is Fox, who released the first season on Blu-ray. The final press release for the second season on DVD is out now, and there is no mention of a Blu-ray set alongside it. The press release is here:

Pulling stuff like this is why sales for television properties will never be great on Blu-ray, because fans want certainty the whole series will be available on the format. Too many shows have gotten one season on BD and then dropped. Having watched the second season in broadcast HD, why would I now buy the DVD set?
