Will we ever get another set like this but in HD?

Richard P. Rubinstein owns the rights, and he’s apparently asking an insane amount of cash to license it.

He made a serious financial error by investing (wasting) $6 million on converting DOTD to 3D, which most of us couldn’t care less about. It’s believed that he wants to recoup at least a majority of that cash, which would make the licensing costs too high for any studio that would want it.

So to answer your question, it’s not looking likely.

Wish love to see Dawn of the Dead Ultimate Edition would come to Blu-ray in the future. Great film and RIP George A. Romero
