I find it strange that Pioneer, Panasonic and Sony are the only ones making UHD BD players and the fact that the newest player is 2 years old. At the same time more big releases are announced every dsy and the PS5 will be able to play them.
What are the other companies waiting for? Where are Denon for example?! You would think that it would be relatively inexpensive to produce a player at this point. At the same time the HiFi market is flooded with new CD / SACD players. I don't understand why companies more don't try to be the next Oppo and capture the market which consists of dedicated nerds who are ready to pay for a good player of all their discs. |
