Is this film part of the trio of independent Norris flicks produced in the early 80's? The Octagon is one of them, I think A FORCE OF ONE is the other. Good films but they had terrible DVD releases. Glad that they're being rescued.

Ah, yes, I recall you mentioning a nude shower scene (not Chuck, thankfully!).

I guess that's a question for Rob S., but my guess is that it'll be the standard US version.

Great work again, Kino. They are killing it with the Cannon and action genre releases this year. I really hope we get the rest of the early 80s Norris/Bronson/Cannon actioners.

No, we wonīt because many of the Bronson and Norris movies with Cannon are not with Kino Lorber. They didnīt pick up the rights for most of those movies.
The rights have another studio. Thatīs what Mr Lime said on the Home Theater Forum.

"Invasion USA" and "Firewalker" will not be released by them and also not most of the Bronson movies.

If this isn't my favorite Chuck Norris flick, it's top five: up there with Invasion USA, Silent Rage, Firewalker and Lone Wolf McQuade. Finally can retire that 4:3 DVD. Great news!

I love how much Norris love is knocking about the place at the moment, but (and I'm not challenging you in particular, icy hot) I'm surprised at how little love Code of Silence gets. To me it's one of or even the best of his films.

Agreed -- in fact, it's almost too good, lacking the sort of out-of-control swagger of Lone Wolf or the giddy patriotism of the ridiculous Missing in Action movies.

But yeah, pound for pound, I'd say Code of Silence is about as close as Norris ever managed to get to a "good movie".

"Code of Silence" is Norris best movie. It was made by Andrew Davis who made the Blockbusters "Under Siege" and "The Fugitive".

Itīs also Chuck Norris personal favourite because it got the best critical acclaim.

By the way, Norris did the stunt on the train in Chicago by himself.

The fight scene in the club was great.

I have to say I have rewatched Code of Silence a lot more than even Invasion USA, it is just a good action film. The robot is always a good laugh to see now and the finale when Norris comes through the smoke has to be one of the best scenes for me.
