AWAKE (Netflix - 2021)

I would never say I always agree with Blu-ray.com staff reviewer Brian Orndorf across the board, but I’ve always been able to concede that he does a bang-up job defending and supporting his points of view well. Until now. I didn’t really like AWAKE at all. I didn’t like the accelerated pace. I didn’t like the child actors. I didn’t like the ample plot contrivances. I didn’t like the clumsy paths the storyline took. I didn’t like its blood thirst for exploitation. Netflix’s AWAKE is really kinda awful.
