"Forget everything you've ever heard about vampires," warns Jack Crow (James Woods), the leader of Team Crow, a relentless group of mercenary vampire slayers. When Master Vampire Valek (Thomas Ian Griffith) decimates Jack's entire team, Crow and the sole team survivor, Montoya (Daniel Baldwin), set out in pursuit. Breaking all the rules, Crow and Montoya take one of Valek's victims hostage – a beautiful but unlucky prostitute (Sheryl Lee). She is the sole psychic link to Valek and they use her to track down the leader of the undead. As Valek nears the climax of his 600-year search for the Berziers Cross, Jack and the new Team Crow do everything possible to prevent him from possessing the only thing that can grant him and all the vampires the omnipotent power to walk the world in daylight.

Just watched my Indicator Blu-ray a while ago. This is one entertaining movie and pretty high up in the Carpenter filmography for me.

Love the way the music is used in that opening scene.

I did not hesitate much for Village of The Damned because the UK blu I had was not great (euphemism).
Because I have the Indicator I'm not so sure about this one.
I wish they'd do In the Mouth of Madness instead, or Memoirs of an Invisible Man

This is another fantastic and wholly expected development. I figured either Vampires or Ghosts of Mars might be next. Vampires it is. Frankly, though, the way the format is progressing, I think it’s inevitable that we’ll see just about every Carpenter film get a uhd upgrade, and sooner than later. Hopefully Shout continues to surprise us here with another better-than-expected encode, and does their homework on the color timing.

Shout/scream factory have been licensing some good but lesser known or less popular titles which is great news. I enjoyed this, probably Carpenter's last good movie. Ghosts of Mars just has has too many flaws for me.

I absolutely love Big Trouble in Little China, it's one of my most wanted films to come to 4K, but with it being tied to Disney, it's unlikely we will ever see it, but we can hope.

Nice! Have the Indicator release and grabbed the Scream Factory Blu but will definitely upgrade to 4K. Gimme all the Carpenter in 4K!

The only thing I don't like about this movie, is the anticlimactic ending.
I expected a much more epic showdown.
Woods is pure gold in this one.
Would have loved to see him team up with Carpenter again...

I'll definitely get it. I never upgraded from the DVD and this was a movie I watched A LOT.
