Mods can move this if it’s not in the right spot, wasn’t sure where to put it. I’m having disc cleaning issues and I thought I would post here to see if there’s any suggestions. I’ve heard that a good microfiber cleaning cloth is best to clean discs with. I had one, but after a little while, I had some major problems with streaking all over the disc while using the cloth and attempting to clean. I thought the problem was with the cloth, so I ran it through my washing machine, no detergent, air dried, just as a site suggested. I thought it would fix the issue. Nope! Still had issues with streaking.
Figured I would try a different microfiber cloth. Same exact issue. Major streaking while using the cloth, and I thought it looked even worse than before using the cloth. I then thought about using a t-shirt, as it seemed like my only other option. It seemed a bit better at first, but then streaking became an issue again. Any suggestions as to what I should try next? I sometimes feel like pulling my hair out. I’m very particular about the cleanliness of my discs, and streaks all over discs make me want to go crazy! ![]() |
