Immaculate (2024) Blu-ray (NEON)

NEON (via Decal) will be releasing the horror/nunsploitation film Immaculate (2024) on Blu-ray on June 11th. Extras include a commentary with the director. The film will also be getting a 4K release in Germany in July.

There is tiny bit of Italian which may not have English subs on the German release so I am waiting for confirmation about subs first.

That's what I was thinking about too. Both the Neon and Capelight stats only say they have English subtitles for the hard of hearing so does that mean to have subtitles for the Italian dialogue that track would have to be turned on?

I saw the film but can't remember how many scenes are in Italian.

It is blasphemous that this fine movie is not getting a 4K release here on these shores.

I am nun too pleased about the lack of a 4K UHD Blu-ray here in the U.S.

This label needs to change its habit.

I shouldn't be so cross about this, but I am.

Hopefully, the second coming of a U.S. release will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray.

Hmm, there's probably a few lines of Italian every few minutes. Sometimes you get a live translation by a character, and but also sometimes you get a fake translation.

I emailed Capelight to ask about the subtitles.

I don't know how they are with responding, especially if it's in English.

Are there any other Capelight releases that have a similar situation (English with some other languages occasionally). Might give some insight.

I’m quite new to them so wouldn’t know, I only have a handful of titles.

I might just get the Blu-ray in this case, it should still look good. I’m quite happy buying both formats (one or the other)

I've read all of this and the other thread and I wanted to see if anyone can confirm for me:
- does this german 4k have english audio?
- i see it's region a, b, c on the german sites; that means it would play in North America (region A) and appears to be region free

just not clear to me if the 4k german version has english audio as an option

Movie tried very hard to showcase but she is a nun in the film.

Is there a Blu-ray of Euphoria TV series? Probably a better showcase for what you’re looking for
