Adult Swim April Fools Day Prank 2018 (Offical Thread)

As we all know adult swim always does a April fools prank on April 1 last years prank was the early premiere of Rick and Morty season 3 episode 1 three months early the year before that was a prank advertising a prank to be played on April fools and than no prank. Being that this year April fools day will be premiering on a Sunday which is when toonami airs there is no telling what the prank will be but I assume it will involve toonami whether it's a fake cancellation or the premiere of adult swim jr. Anyways this thread is to discuss the April fools prank.

I love Adult Swim, but I don't follow or ever read what their April Fools prank is. Personally, I find the "holiday" to be really stupid. With AS, it could be anything.

I think this years prank will be either toonami related like a fake cancellation with tom shutting down toonami again or adult swim junior the block that was advertised in a spot months ago.

Several years ago they ran a range of stupid series instead of anime during the scheduled anime block. I was more annoyed than anything and don't see the humor in pranks like that.

This year prank might be the premiere of flcl progressive episode 1 and the movie mind game if Hulus leaked out schedule is to be believed.

Kinda sucks because tonight was the beginning of the Kage Summit arc in Shippuden. I've got a 30 day trial with Sling and was gonna watch it, next week it is.

Just to round this out: Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Black Clover ran as normal; then the April 1st hi-jinks begin, from here on out everything was in Japanese with English subtitles (including the bumpers and Tom's reviews).

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans was booted entirely and viewers were treated with the first episode of FLCL: Alternative.

Next was the movie Mind Game, but Toonami wasn't finished yet. After Mind Game ended 10 minutes into a half hour block Toonami continued with the shows offset by 10 or so minutes (and everything gets chopped by the DVR). The next in series episodes for Jo-Jo's Bizarre Adventure, Hunter X Hunter, Naruto: Shippuden, Space Dandy, and at least one episode of Cowboy Bebop all ran in their original Japanese with English subtitles.
