Thirteen Days- Why is it SD only on Vudu?

I purchased Thirteen Days (the Cuban Missile Crisis movie) on iTunes as Movies Anywhere showed it as available there. I always knew it was available on Vudu, but it is SD only (boo!). It was also available on the other services as well. It's HD everywhere, but Vudu. I had a fools hope that by buying the movie outside of Vudu would somehow grant me an HD edition of Vudu (every movie I have on Vudu is HD), despite it being SD only there. Unfortunately, I did get the SD there. Why, oh why, is the Vudu version the only one that is SD. Of all the versions that I'd want to be in HD is the Vudu version, as every digital movie I own is own Vudu (including the non-MA movies). Bah!
