The future is grim for physical media, distributors are cutting corners and hard decisions need to be made, the future of Blu Ray is in your hands... The decisions you make will shape every catalog release from now on. You must choose 5 items from the following list which will now make up every catalog release... the fate of the format lies in your hands. Will you choose wisely for the betterment of your fellow man, or will choose your own selfish interests to ensure that you, and you alone reap the rewards of your decisions? The clock is ticking...

(Choose your 5 preferences for the future of movie releases: Movies will come with generic photoshop art in eco cases unless you choose otherwise. All scans will be from the best possible elements with good compression so no need to choose this as an option as you're already covered. Audio options will include the newest HD surround sound mix only unless you add more. Essentially your choices will change the releases from your average Echo Bridge/Mill Creek release into something more)

Early Observation time... thus far none of us have choosen Commentaries. They always seem to come up as must have inclusions on catalog releases yet when needing to choose only a few items they have thus far not made the cut... Interesting.

I thought about commentaries, but I figure if the documentary is comprehensive enough (like 2 hours), it'll tell me most of what I need to know, and without the dead air that commentaries can sometimes have. And having to choose between the two, I prefer documentaries since we get b-roll footage, and all the participants get to offer their perspectives without having to fight each other for time - the editor picks the best comments from each.
