The Little Richard scene is my favourite scene in film of all time. I can't wait to see this.

For those that don't know, they made 2 seasons of Black Dynamite in cartoon format. It's worth a watch.

I love Black Dynamite.
I was so angry when I asked my cousin to go see it with me, and he was like "Nah, not in the mood", so I didn't go see it.
Then, 6 months later I'm laughing my ass off and had no one to share the laughter with. I wish I forced my cousin to go with me that day.

I love Black Dynamite, but it doesn't feel like it needs a sequel. They should leave it alone.

I wouldn't mind seeing this set in the '80s, to set it apart from the first film as well as the cartoon. That might get it away from the Blaxploitation angle a little, but it could be really interesting. I'd love to see some cameos from that era's martial arts actors. I'm thinking Sho Kosugi, Michael Dudikoff, etc.

Read about this a little while back and it’s now looking more and more certain it’s gonna happen now we have this disappointingly short teaser. Had always hoped for a sequel of some kind, like Shaft in Africa style, now just hope it’s good...

Really liked the original, it really nailed the genre, with all its knowing nods and winks to the films it was paying homage to (loved the boom mics!), it looked great and had a superb soundtrack, great wardrobe, and MJW was fantastic in the title role. The sequel definitely has a lot to live up to in my eyes.
