Guess this is supposed to be Bollywood's version of Maverick

Watched it in 3D IMAX and - WOW - this has been the most amazing 3D movie I've watched in a while...

The movie would be amazing even if it wasn't in 3D. It's got everything that imho TG2 didn't have, and so much more than that!!

The movie has all different kinds of fighting - hand-to-hand, commando attack, and, of course, fighter dogfights, and they all look spectacular in 3D IMAX. And of course, there are also some nifty sing-and-dance numbers where the 2 leads show off their perfect bodies...

Definitely try and watch this in 3D IMAX if you can, it's quite a ride.

Action sequences are top notch exceeded my expectations but clichéd plot and forced patriotisim is a bit turnoff for me. Still recommend for the solid leads and great action.

When these are in 3D, I've seen them at my theaters and they are entertaining Bollywood films, with good to great action scenes consistently to my surprise in the films I've seen, and entertaining dance song numbers. Then the 3D in each one has mostly been good to very good. I will try to check this out this weekend if possible.

Yeah, definitely do it ASAP, the 3D showings are relatively rare and the theaters won't keep them for long.

This movie is everything I might have hoped TG2 would be, and so much more. It's really the best recent movie about fighter pilots, imho.

I might watch it, fan of Hrithik! War and Bang Bang both were fun.

I was able to see this over the weekend for the 3D, but enjoyed the film too despite some flaws. Entertaining, great action at times, interesting story and great jet sequences IMO and plenty of them. I thought most of the effects looked good, although sometimes over-the-top. But still fun.

The 3D was mostly medium 3D layering, which was good but not great.

I finally went to a matinee today. Unsurprisingly, I was the only one in the theater. It was playing on one of the smaller screens but like the last Indian film I saw they played it louder than typical (which I like). The film is a little too long but never boring. There are 3 song/dance numbers but the final one seemed like a showcase for how good looking the male and female lead are. Deepika Padukone reminds me of a slightly younger Priyanka Chopra and she was also the lead in last years Jawan.

Some of the scenes had some lower grade CGI and the final battle had some shaky cam footage as well as an "even Superman couldn't pull off that stunt" scene with a helicopter. They also threw in some over the top forgiveness scenes. Still I walked out of the theater very pleased. 8/10.

Yes, the films are very over the top with the action and stunts, almost like comic book movies, but it's been entertaining each time I've seen these in 3D. If they weren't in 3D, I would pass but I don't regret seeing them in theaters and if they were on TV, I'd watch them again. Really good cinematography IMO with all the camera work, angles, editing, etc. combined with the action scenes, fights, combat, dances, etc.

I wouldn't mind 30 minutes trimmed for this one but it still managed to keep me focused on the film despite some flaws thanks to the entertainment value and plentiful action.

I watched this in 4DX 3D last night. It was my first time watching a movie in 4DX and boy was it fun. I didn't expect even the trailers to have effects. The 3D wasn't that memorable. There was one moment in the beginning where a plane was pointing out of the screen which was cool. The 4DX felt like I was on a roller coaster, especially during the finale. I enjoyed the movie, but the
[Show spoiler]final fight was so one-sided.
I wanted to see more of Deepika Padukone's character in a fighter jet but most of the flying she does in the movie is in helicopters, unfortunately.
