installing aftermarket stereo in 2015 fiesta - Blu-ray Forum

I am getting tired of the system from the factory as was wondering how to change the stereo. Last time I changed the HU was a few years ago in my 1997 Saturn and have tried to research it but it confuses me and does not seem to be simple anymore. I however want to use my Pioneer HU which I got a few years ago though I don't remember the model it is one that has the USB in the back instead of the front and single din.

Can anyone help me? I am thinking of doing this sometime so any help would be appreciated.

If you looked into it and it confuses you...DON'T DO IT. I'm sure that you can hire somebody to do it for you that has the knowledge to do it properly.

mainly its what is required for the harnesses. I don't understand what I need as there seems to be a lot of different items such as a module to retain the steering wheel buttons and things like the NAV and other stuff that I don't have so I don't know if I can just use a wire harness to do what I did with Saturn so I don't need the other stuff I can easily install it. I probably should go to a fiesta forum or something. thanks though

that's what you need.

you hook the plugs into the factory plugs coming out of your dash. then, splice the wires (preferably using solder) into the corresponding wires coming out of the aftermarket radio.

looks like the whole kit you'd need instead of buying the parts individually. just make sure that's the color trim you want (the one listed is silver, obviously). but i'm thinking if you need/want the black kit, it'd be the same price.

and regarding the antenna adapter, some radios use that as a ground, as well. so it may be required for it to work as intended.

so although it's a bit pricey, i'd probably go with that kit since it has everything you'd need.

what confuses me is the box and how that hooks up as I have researched I think it has something to do with the steering wheel control or something else I can't remember but I'll have wait on it though I do appriecate the help.
