I am getting tired of the system from the factory as was wondering how to change the stereo. Last time I changed the HU was a few years ago in my 1997 Saturn and have tried to research it but it confuses me and does not seem to be simple anymore. I however want to use my Pioneer HU which I got a few years ago though I don't remember the model it is one that has the USB in the back instead of the front and single din.
Can anyone help me? I am thinking of doing this sometime so any help would be appreciated. |

mainly its what is required for the harnesses. I don't understand what I need as there seems to be a lot of different items such as a module to retain the steering wheel buttons and things like the NAV and other stuff that I don't have so I don't know if I can just use a wire harness to do what I did with Saturn so I don't need the other stuff I can easily install it. I probably should go to a fiesta forum or something. thanks though

you hook the plugs into the factory plugs coming out of your dash. then, splice the wires (preferably using solder) into the corresponding wires coming out of the aftermarket radio. |

and regarding the antenna adapter, some radios use that as a ground, as well. so it may be required for it to work as intended. so although it's a bit pricey, i'd probably go with that kit since it has everything you'd need. |
