I just received the newest issue of Widescreen Review. I have enjoyed reading their 3d blu ray reviews and their take on 3d tvs and projectors. It is so strange to see them acting like many movies that are currently out in 3d do not exist in 3d. The last issue has Jumanji and Last Jedi reviewed in 4k only.
If someone did not visit this site, they might never know these movies exist readily in 3d format. Yes I know these 3d blu rays are not released here in the US. You think Widescreen Review doesn't know this as well? This has been an ongoing process with Widescreen Review for quite a while, reviewing big 3d movies available in 3d blu ray but only with 4k reviews and acting like 3d versions don't exist. In fact here is their ONLY mention of 3d in the entire magazine: "A 3D stereo conversion was performed by Gener8 Canada and Gener8 India, but no 3D Blu-ray Disc release." This was taken from their review of Jumanji 4k. Disingenuous to say the least. Just wanted to thank everyone here and give a big FU to everyone else who acts like 3d doesn't even exist. I hope against all hope that someone from Widescreen Review will read this and give us a real answer. Last edited by wildbill722; 04-14-2018 at 03:12 PM. |
