Spoilertastic! Imagine anyone who has never seen it looking at that cover and going WTF!

I was fortunate enough to see it at a film festival (Splatterfest at The Scala IIRC) and nobody had a clue what it was. For the most part it played like a John Hughes teen drama then... bam!

The new art's a little less subtle, but pretty awesome if you ask me.

I really do not like the artwork either, but I have pre-ordered it. Haven't seen the film in a long time, but it is probably Yuzna's best film (of the ones I have seen, which includes Bride of Re-Animator).

Hate the artwork, and considering my troubles with Nekromantik I'm a little disappointed at the switch to a digipak. But I've waited long enough for Society, so I'll still keep my pre-order.

From their Facebook page:

we will be putting out a standard edition at a later date with the original art as the reverse sleeve but you won't get the comics included in this.

The digipak is limited to 3k in the US and an additional 3k in the UK.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer English language releases too, but foreign text isn't a deal-breaker for me. Especially on releases like this one where the main title is still English anyway.

Artwork isn't usually a deal-breaker either, but to me this one's hideous. Seeing as there's an alternative, the foreign text is the lesser evil for me.

Seeing the post above it seems like there will be a regular UK release anyway. Might just wait for that one now!

Hmm I like the new digipack artwork but I wish we had the original artwork and the one which Second Sight was going to sue when they were going to release it, I loved that one!

Still keeping my pre-order active though, it's a great film!

The Digipack is still only available for pre-order on Amazon.uk
Hopefully Zavvi get some. The SB version that was on Zavvi for about a year and now is gone is a good cover too.
