Default Walmart 4k display--great prices!

went to Walmart today and saw a whole section of 4k uhd blu-rays which were really good prices. Some examples include John Wick 2 movie set, $29.99 and the Harry Potter movies in 4k for $19.99 each, Van helping for $14.99 and a bunch of other titles. Check out your local walmart!

Before buying any $20 titles from Walmart I’d suggest checking Amazon’s 3 for $50 list to see if they’re there first.

My local Walmarts have been trimming their 4K offerings recently, so I'm definitely interested to see which titles are part of this display.

$20 a pop for the HPs is solid, gonna at least pick up Deathly Hallows 2 if they have slips (otherwise I'll keep waiting).

On that note, a best buy employee told me last week the CD racks are soon to be gone (no news flash there) and that they're being replaced by the growing 4k/UHD content. Nice sign.

Swung by Walmart today, mine had maybe ~20 titles. The selection was predominantly Fox. I can't remember all the titles, but most were $14.96.

- Independence Day
- Independence Day: Resurrection
- The Martian
- The Revenant
- Hidden Figures
- Hacksaw Ridge
- Life of Pi

The rest were mostly Universal:

- All Jason Bourne movies
- The Huntsman: Winter's War
- Van Helsing

I'm forgetting a few, but that's the gist of it.

Youtuber coolduder showed the display in his recent tuesday bluray shopping video. The shelf seemed to be missing a bunch of titles but still had a decent amount out. You can see in the video at around 2:58. I'll definitely need to stop by a walmart.

Eh I wish Walmart would have more of the exclusive barebones 4K multiple movie releases for cheap. I'd like to get a complete maze runner 4k trilogy since there doesn't seem to be one in the US, and since Walmart did the first 2 movies as a barebones combo pack, why can't they do the complete set?

Yeah, I found the Now You See Me two movie set for $19.96 there last summer. It's just 2 UHD discs.

Sounds like pure speculation to me since they haven't told employees what they are doing with that space yet. Most stores already carry upwards of 150 4K skus and the demand and selection just isn't there yet to nearly double that amount with the CD space.

Went by my local WM this morning and they didn't have the display (although, granted, their movie section is very small). But one of the WMs near work did!

I hear ya, just sharing what the guy told me. I'll be visiting that store often in the coming weeks and will be sure to snap a before and after pic if he was in fact on the money.

Went by today. Most 14.96 titles aren’t that great. All HP titles are 19.99 which is nice if you don’t have them yet.

I DID see a new walmart exclusive john wick 2 movie pack for 29.96 i havnt seen before. Anyone else see this?

I can’t see anything when I click on the spoiler. Is it just me/my phone?

Just stopped by my local WM.

They had everything in stock...just nothing I care to buy right now.

Sorry the prices are a little hard to see.

Does someone have the UPC for the new John Wick 4K?

I'll add it to the database.

Went and picked up The Revenant 4K. I've had the Blu-ray for a while then we got a 4K player so I wanted to wait and watch it in 4K.
Freaking AMAZING movie. No wonder Leonardo DiCaprio won Best Actor and Alejandro Iñárritu Best Director. Beautiful movie.
