This appears to be the 2017 replacement to the very popular 2016 KS8000 series, and while it has some pretty great improvements (cable management, overall design, half the input lag) the usable length of the power cable itself is a foot and a half.
Seriously. ![]() Gonna try to purchase an extension cable tomorrow morning so I can actually use the dang thing. Also it apparently doesn't get as bright as the KS8000 so it might be a downgrade to some. I'll be using it as a computer monitor (had a 55" KS850D but it broke and this is the replacement) at 100-nit SDR, so peak brightness is meaningless for my use case. |
