Con Air run time - Blu-ray Forum

Just was looking at the information for the blu and noticed that its not the extended cut that came out about with was it 10 more minutes of the movie or so. Just wondering if any has seen that edition since i didnt pick it up since i already had it on dvd when that was released and did it make the movie any better??

I have yet to purchase Con Air but plan on it. Its one of my favorite action movies.

I have the "special edition" version on DVD and on the back cover it shows the runtime as 122 minutes. I don't think you're gaining much by that extra 7 minutes.

I dont think the extended added anything to the movie really either....but I hate that they dont normally use those versions. We get DH4 pg13, mr and mrs smith rated version, enemy of the state, crimson tide, con air all have extended versions, etc....but the blu copies all get the first DVD version release and not the special edition one....I know that this allows for double dipping later, but damn....it just pisses me off!

We do get a new version of Coyote Ugly and we got the unrated Underworld but there are tons of other better versions of movies out there than what they give us sometimes.
