It looks like something we would see go direct-to-video/VOD and be pleasantly surprised by, but I see this is actually a theatrical release?

I do like the cast and trailer. I'm just surprised it's going to theaters. I don't see it doing well there.

Looks good. Saw the poster this afternoon, leaving Upgrade. Had another one hanging nearby that also said "from the producers of Stranger Things & Arrival", can't remember the name of that one.

He clearly has an anti-gun bias, and should be at least suspended if not outright fired for pushing his personal political views in a movie review that carries his employers stamp. 'Cause that's really all he reviewed, that the movie features a teenager with a big sci-fi gun, and he doesn't agree with it, so there. That's really the entire review, he found one element of the movie objectionable, so he gave it an F. Really unprofessional.

Kin looks like an average, underwhelming movie. Not good but not terrible either, just kind of there.

That EW review isn't even a review. It's just him getting fixated on one thing and going off about it. I wonder if he was a big supporter of walkie talkies being CGIed into E.T.

I went to see this tonight, since Searching won't be available till tomorrow, (thx to MoviePass). It was okay, nothing great, but I feel like the inclusion of the "ray gun" was unnecessary towards the main plot and was there to setup up for a sequel. I am intrigued about the where the gun comes from, and am curious about that place, so I do hope get to make a sequel of that place. The trailer is somewhat misleading though.
