watch the prestige was like watching it was a 720p style, it's not right....all blu-ray movies should be 1080p AKA FULL SCREEN

1080p has nada to do with aspect ratio.

It was 1080P, just not the aspect ratio Apocolypto is in. Watch Cars and tell me how that "720p style" sucks...

Yea it has NOTHING to do with 1080P or 720P or anything like that it's about how the movie is filmed.

But how movies are 1080p if they do not use the full 1080 lines of resolution? 1080 are the vertical lines of resolution, but if the movies have the black bars, then they are not using the full lines of resolution.

How is it 1080P when it doesn't match up all all the 1080 pixels on my full hdtv?....this is rediculous.

Did you read the info in the link I posted? Like others have said, the resolution has nothing to do with the aspect ratio.

I know I already commented on this, but you really think your HDTV only has 1080 pixels?

'Cause that's awesome.

Why would it say 1920x1080P on the back of the case if it doesn't fit my 1920x1080P tv? can someone answer me why blu-ray let this happen? and why they put 1080P on the back of the case then
