You can use it through the rest of your current period but cannot renew even now as all the links to purchase are dead.

Needless to say, I'm not very happy as my subscription runs out in September.

Even with GCU I spend hundreds of dollars a year at Best Buy and now I no longer have a reason to shop there for video games.

I definitely won't be buying as many games in general any more and I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon kills the 20% discount before too longer because they have no reason to keep it now.

It sucks, but at least they are still honoring current members. It would suck more if it ended today, my membership doesn't expire until June 14, 2019.

As a side note, it seems like you only see the GCU discount in your cart once you add an item, it doesn't show on the product pages anymore.

Went ahead and locked in my pre-order for Smash Bros. since it still had the $10 rewards attached to it (apparently).

Wow. I just signed up. Mainly to save on Nintendo games for the next two years. Good timing on my part I guess.

I just renewed mine on March 30th.

The question now is will they change their mind again and end it for current members too. They could just refund everybody's $30 and call it quits.

Lame as hell. I’m only paid up through Dec 30th. I’ll buy a lot less games when this ends. Maybe time to give GameFly rentals another chance.
