Received the aforementioned release today. I can personally confirm that both films are Region Free, and have full English support. English audio track and subtitle options (where you can disable them) are easily accessible from the disc menu. Navigating the disc menu is very easy and will be simple even for someone who has never spoken a word of spanish.

This is definitely the definitive release of the original Blair Witch Project currently available on the blu ray format, furthermore I believe it is also the only source of Book of Shadows (sequel) thus far on the format.

The transfers were good and acceptable, and all special features are english friendly.

SIDE NOTE: The first blair which film looks like a SD image, this is not an oversight during the mastering process for the film on HD. It is supposed to look that way, The second film has a great cinematic transfer.

The package have a number in a rectangular white box on the rear bottom right side of the case. Fellow collectors will know what this usually indicates. Unfortunately I have been unable to verify the number of prints release, so I cannot say for certain that it is a numbered limited edition title, but I suspect it is.

Thought people might be interested in this. Blair Witch 2 is finally getting an official release in Germany as part of a trilogy set on October 28th.

Anyone know, based on this label's previous releases, if the disc will have burnt-in subtitles, or player generated with English audio? Might cave, as this releases looks gorgeous.

I have a couple other "Piece of Art" Box releases from this label, and the discs have included optional English & German subtitles.

I clicked through the link to the product, and it shows some images without that annoying label--hopefully it's removable, or is only on the outer shrinkwrap.
